About me

Ciao a tutti, my name is Giacomo and teaching my native language is my biggest passion. I was born in Livorno, Tuscany, but I lived in Rome for 12 years and 2 years in north of Italy (Padova). Living in London since 2012 now. I strongly believe that a language is not only about rules, but also a real journey in history and culture. Start a journey with me in the charming Italian language.

My approach

I like my students discover grammar rules by themselves step by step through interesting activities, and being fascinated by it. This makes easier to remember those rules, because they become one’s rules and not just words on the paper. I also love giving students some tricks & tips in order to better approach the language and boost their learning. I have 5 years’ experience in teaching corporate courses, both to groups and individuals. I like to adapt my classes to the need of my students focusing either on everyday life general Italian or business Italian. In both cases I carefully prepare interactive and differentiated activities to provide equity and excellence to students of all ability levels and different learning approach.
