Alejandra Martinez
Spanish teacher

About me
¡Hola! Me llamo Alejandra. I’m from a beautiful city called San Luis Potosí in North-Central
Mexico. After a professional experience in management and hospitality through which I travelled around the world, I started my teaching career in 2017, teaching General Spanish to adults from Beginner to Advanced levels. Working as a teacher is one of my favourite things because when you share your experience and knowledge of your own language and culture with students you can change the world to them. Every student presents an opportunity for me to help them discover their potential and improve their language skills which will be valuable for both work and personal development in such a competitive world.
My approach
I love sharing my love for the Spanish language and Latin American culture with students
and encouraging them to be able to speak confidently. I also enjoy adapting course
materials to suit students’ needs and work on my teaching approach so that I can find
new ways to help them reach their language learning goals. I use a variety of activities to
give learners the opportunity to practise language – these include videos, listening activities,
games and role plays. I am so happy and satisfied when a student reaches their goals!
Academic and professional qualifications
